There is very little context, other than she’s fairly attractive and he had given her a ride home one morning 6 months ago after a brunch thing and the fiancé got super jealous that they were alone in the car together for the 5 minute drive. It cuz of the tradition of going to the graves of your loved ones, cleaning them up, lighting candles, except Halloween is on October 31st and the other one is on November 1st. There's literally nothing stopping us from celebrating Halloween other than catholic fanatics that connect every dark theme or color to Satan and Hell. I think I'd rather do that than celebrate Halloween, such a pointless holiday that only serves to line the pockets of people who make money from it. At least those traditions would benefit the memory of people who are no longer alive, you always hear about people destroying gravesites but never about people cleaning them upTrue, I don'. The shelf in our house either.I never really believed my parents about Santa (I think they made some slip-up really early that I picked up on) but I quite enjoyed buying into the fantasy anyway. It's a fun make-believe thing and I think actually lot of kids enjoy it even though they see through it. Most of what young kids do with their friends is pretending anyway.Same, I remember quite early on in life I I snuck down the stairs in the middle of the night on Xmas Eve and saw my Mum wrapping presents.
